Daniel Druhora works at the intersection of immersive storytelling and humanitarian innovation. A Romanian-born actor, filmmaker, researcher, and lecturer at the University of Southern California’s Viterbi School of Engineering. His work focuses on developing innovative technologies that promote empathy, understanding, and trust between humans and machines. He has published numerous research papers on topics such as natural language processing, affective computing, and human-robot interaction. In addition, 

Druhora has worked on a variety of film projects in Romania and the United States, bringing depth and nuance to his performances. His background in the arts informs his research and teaching, inspiring him to create AI systems that are not only technically advanced, but also emotionally and socially intelligent.
